Initial training system and access to permanent posts in secondary schools According to Law no.Ìý, which amended Legislative Decree no. 59 of 13.04.2017, the new system of initial training and access to permanent positions in secondary schools envisages:a university qualifying initial training course of no less than 60 CFU;a national open competition;a one-year in-service probationary period with a final test and final assessment. The MUR, with Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 19.03.2025, has authorised ÃÛÌÒTV of Genoa to announce the competition for admission, for the academic year 2024/25, to the qualifying training courses pursuant to the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 August 2023 relating to the classes for which ÃÛÌÒTV had previously submitted a request for accreditation. With regard to the activation of pathways for the academic year 2024/25 it is specified that:The 60 CFU pathways (attachment 1 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 August 2023) will be activated including the legal reserve. The 45% reserve of places concerns the following categories:those who have served in state educational institutions or in paritarian schools for at least three years, including non-continuous ones, of which at least one in the specific competition class for which they choose to obtain the qualification in the previous five years (they will follow the 30 CFU qualifying pathway - ANNEX. 2 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 August 2023);those who have taken the competitive examination relative to the extraordinary procedure referred to in Art. 59, paragraph 9-bis, of Decree-Law no. 73 of 25 May 2021 (they will follow the 30 CFU Enabling Path - ALL. 2 of the Prime Minister's Decree of 4 August 2023).5% of the 45% is reserved for holders of teaching contracts within the framework of vocational education and training courses in the regions that will follow the 60 CFU Enabling Course (ALL.1 of the Prime Minister's Decree of 4 August 2023).In accordance with the Prime Minister's Decree of 4 August 2023, Article 8, Paragraph 1, for those who have already acquired the 24 CFU Single Certification (DM 616/2017), for the purposes of achieving the 60 CFU, 24 CFU (DM 616/2017) achieved by 31 October 2022 are recognised, subject to at least ten CFU of direct apprenticeship. It is therefore possible to enrol in the 60 CFU qualifying pathway and request the recognition of 24 CFUs.For each class, the level of sustainability is represented by the achievement of the minimum number of ten enrolled students; therefore, for classes that do not reach this minimum threshold of students, the relative pathways will not be activated. The completion pathways reserved for competition winners (excluded from the sustainable level) will not be activated. The pathways pursuant to art.13 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 August 2023 (30 CFU pathways addressed to those who already hold a qualification for the achievement of further qualifications) will not be activated.
